Introduction
Introduced in 2004 the Sabre 42 Express embodies the graceful styling luxurious accommodations and high-quality construction common to all Sabre yachts. The 42 is a particularly handsome yacht and her low-profile cabin top conceals a considerable amount of living space below. Built on a modified V hull with a wide beam and prop pockets the focal point of the 42 Express is her semi-enclosed pilothouse with its swivel helm and companion seats folding teak table and full wet bar. Below decks the traditional two-stateroom interior is highlighted with varnished cherry wood cabinetry.

Deck
Safety security and comfort remain a priority in the design of the Sabre 42 Express. From the moment you step aboard you will be on secure footing and within reach of a handhold. Wide side decks large diameter hand rails and a raised teak toe rail make movement around the deck both secure and comfortable. On her foredeck there is a well thought out anchoring setup with rollers for both primary and secondary anchors. On centerline a standard anchor windlass is provided with rope chain gypsy and windlass controls are placed both here and at the helm station. In working on the design for this yacht the Sabre Design Team identified the side second cabin as a high priority. A large space for the second cabin was created by offsetting the companionway to port. this providedSabre's designers with enough space for a full double berth. Salon
The main salon of the Sabre 42 Express provides a large and luxurious space in which to entertain or relax at the end of a pleasant day on the water. Sabre's storied heritage of fine craftsmanship is evident in the inlaid bird's eye maple table and in all of the hand built furniture. Several cupboards and drawers are found outboard and under the seating surfaces.
