The Back Cove is the most recent example of everything that makes the DownEast Lobster Boat a work of art. With her traditional spoon bow and gently sloped transom it is a style that turns heads wherever she is. With a deep V-hull prop pocket and standard trim tabs she offers comfort and performance. With the upgraded Yanmar 315hp diesel engine she will cruise at 24-knots and top out at 29-knots.The Interior is spacious airy and practical. Finely crafted cherry furniture is a source of pride for her owners. Varnished ash is used to line the hull sides and teak and holly for the cabin sole. The cabin is air conditioned for your comfort. The galley includes an alcohol/electric stove and microwave oven. The large refrigerator is under the counter. There is alarge deep stainless steel sink with hot and cold water as well as a drawer lockers and shelves. The fully enclosed head and shower are located behind a gracefully curved cherry bulkhead. The head unit has a full fiberglass liner for ease of maintenance. Solid surface material is used on the counter top. The berthis a very spacious 60" wide at the aft end and almost 7' in length so you can read and sleep in comfort. The headroom is 6'3" in the salon.
